Lifeness Science Institute (LSI) launches FV-Nutri Lounge—one of the first of its kind. This hands-on initiative is designed to reshape the way Integrative Nutrition and Dietetics students learn and apply their knowledge.
What is FV-Nutri Lounge?
A project-based learning initiative that teaches students how to create simple, nutritious recipes from scratch using healthy alternatives and everyday ingredients. It is not just about cooking, it covers everything from recipe planning to ingredient sourcing, budgeting, preparation, and even selling.
The initiative is being conducted across all LSI campuses, making it a collective effort to promote experiential learning. Students work in teams, apply their academic knowledge in real-world settings, and learn the fundamentals of food entrepreneurship and neutrapreneurship.
Why It Matters?
This initiative blends culinary creativity with nutritional science and business acumen. Students explore how to make wellness both accessible and affordable, while learning how to present, price, and promote health-forward meals. It nurtures innovation, discipline, teamwork, and a deeper understanding of food as a tool for well-being.
FV-Nutri Lounge is not just a project, it is a stepping stone for students to become well-rounded professionals in the health and nutrition space. By combining skill-building with a purpose, LSI is preparing its students to lead the future of wellness.
So far, students have served up impressive creations like healthy chaats, sattu panipuri, creamy pasta, guilt-free desserts (yes, even cheesecake), and wholesome burgers. Their journey has just begun and it is deliciously inspiring!
